Jason Kraus, Managing Partner
Jason Kraus is a skilled corporate and real estate attorney with a strong litigation background. He has been a partner in Bouman Kraus, PC since 2008. Prior, he was an associate with Winstead, PC, a mid-size Texas law firm, in their Real Estate Transactions and Finance practice group where he handled the legal needs of a diverse group of clients.
Before that, Jason worked in private real estate practice in Asheville, North Carolina. He also spent four years in the United States Navy JAG Corps and where he served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney (SAUSA) for the Southern District of California.
Jason graduated from Campbell Law School in North Carolina and while in law school, clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge Wallace Dixon. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
Jason is licensed in Texas and North Carolina and with the federal courts in both states.
Mike Bouman, Partner
Mike Bouman is the founding partner of Bouman Kraus, PC currently supporting a client in a full-time VP/General Counsel corporate engagement, after which he will return to the firm on a daily basis. He remains an active advisor for the firm’s clients.
Mike launched his own legal practice in 1993 after graduating from law school. He joined forces with Jason Kraus in 2008 to form Bouman Kraus, PC and expand the firm’s offerings to a more multidisciplinary portfolio of services.
Mike received his law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law and his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
